Cardiac Arrest
It was like this. I had a Cardiac arrest (MI) in June and didn't really get back to work until October. When I got back to work and emptied out my briefcase and pigeon hole what did I find but three (count them three) memos labelled urgent.
And what had happened because I had perforce ignored these "urgent" messages? Nothing is what happened. Just remember that when someone at work is hassling you and driving you towards a coronary… nothing.
Before I used to seriously worry about all these urgent jobs piling up. They still pile up. I smile.
Now I keep alive with an unholy trinity of diet drugs and exercise.
